Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clinical Patrol in Tamarac FL this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances hallways waiting areas and other assigned posts assisting with access control visitor interactions and/or directional support as needed.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff patients visitors and first responders during routine activities and/or urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• This hospital assignment may include work in or around the morgue.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
