Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Event Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and growth of our marketing outreach and company and private events. This role requires a passionate individual with strong skills in organization, details, time management, creativity, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing outreach and memorable events to drive engagement and revenue.

Duties

Marketing
•  Understand brand and brand storytelling that aligns with company’s goals.
•  Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the brand’s story, tasting room, upcoming events.
•  Create timely email campaigns to build brand awareness/story, event promotion, and overall information.
•  Manage day-to-day social media posts to reach new and existing followers using CRM software.
•  Website management - update menus, times, and other important information.
•  Write informative and SEO focused blogs for the website.
•  Oversee Google Ad campaigns.
•  Promote events on social media and local websites.
•  Brainstorm new ways to grow and further outreach.
•  Create monthly and quarterly marketing reports for the CEO.

Events
•  Timely management of email and phone correspondence for company and private events.
•  Plan, coordinate, and manage a variety of brand events including tastings, club parties, dinners, live music, and other events.
•  Create an event calendar of events for the company with monthly activities.
•  Plan, coordinate, and manage private events including corporate lunches, private parties, rehearsal dinners, and weddings (as a venue).
•  Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability without compromising customer experience.
•  Collaborate with the Tasting Room team to coordinate staffing, equipment, and inventory.
•  Collaborate with the Culinary Team to coordinate menu selections, and buffet arrangements aligned with event themes.
•  Maintain detailed records of contracts.

Requirements
•  21+ years of age.
•  2+ years of proven experience in event planning and/or marketing.
•  Excellent communication skills.
•  Outstanding organizational abilities.
•  Exceptional computer literacy with a working knowledge of Excel and Google Suite.
•  Google Analytics experience is a plus.
•  Meta knowledge required.
•  Enthusiasm for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
•  Strong, creative ability to problem solve.
•  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
•  Knowledge of budgeting processes related to event management.
•  A passion for wine culture combined with a customer-centric approach will set candidates apart.
•  Professional demeanor.
•  Available to work weekends, as well as evening events and some holidays (ie: 3 day weekends)
•  Ability to lift and carry wine cases as well as other event related items.
