Job Title: Low Voltage Technician/Installer

Job Description

We are seeking two skilled low voltage technicians to perform electrical installations primarily at Riverside Medical Center and potentially at NN City Center. The role involves installing access control systems and security cameras. Ideal candidates will possess DCJS certification and have robust experience in low voltage electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control installations, including card readers, connecting locks, and hardware.
• Install and troubleshoot security camera systems at Riverside Medical Center.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication with clients.
• Ensure reliability and punctuality in meeting scheduled work hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Essential Skills

• DCJS certification or willingness to become certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in low voltage electrical installations.
• Experience in access controls, pulling wire, and terminating CAT 5/6.
• Proficiency with multi-meters and security camera systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Commercial or marine experience.
• Experience with coax, CAT5, CAT6, security, alarm, cable, fire alarm, and access control systems.

Work Environment

Technicians will start their day at 8 AM and work until 5 PM at Riverside Medical Center. The role requires independence and a strong ability to stay on task. As the work is customer-facing, technicians must present themselves professionally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
