Forest Area Schools is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to serve as Assistant Varsity Football

Coach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, football knowledge, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and ability to teach the fundamentals and techniques of football

• Ability to organize and facilitate practices and games while maximizing health and safety
  
• Strong communication skills with parents, participants, and fellow coaches
  
• Demonstrated ethical behavior and the ability to instill those values in student-athletes
  
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with other professionals
  
• Experience working with high school student-athletes preferred
  
• Prior football coaching experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Assist with summer workouts, weight training, and passing scrimmages

• Attend coaching meetings throughout the summer
  
• Assist with game planning and film breakdown
  
• Create practice plans and ensure preparation is completed by Monday each week
  
• Support overall program organization and athlete development

CPR/First Aid Certification is required (training will be provided if not currently certified).
