Overview
Radiation Therapist – Travel assignment in Hawaii, specializing in Radiation Therapy. Location: Hilo, Hawaii (island-wide cancer care setting). Start date: 05/04/2026. Duration: 15 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,190–$2,306 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: Rotating. This position supports a hospital-based cancer program delivering a full range of radiation therapy services.

Responsibilities
- Independently perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning per physician prescription
- Fabricate and apply specialized treatment aides as required for patient-specific plans
- Treat 25–30 patients per day across modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons
- Operate a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and document in ARIA EMR; maintain Epic EMR workflow as of required date
- Conduct site set-ups and simulations across multiple treatment sites within a comprehensive cancer program
- Monitor patient status, adjust care within scope, and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to meet age-specific needs

Requirements
- Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist; ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active Hawaii license by start of assignment
- 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience
- Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR; Epic EMR experience planned by November 1, 2025
- Ability to treat 25–30 patients per day; willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays
- Arrival required the Thursday prior to start for employee health screening and onboarding
