Senior Tax Associate (Hybrid)

A well-established, family-owned accounting firm offering full services continues to grow. As a medium-sized firm, this company is known for its collaborative, flexible environment and strong New England roots. We're seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing team. Location : Essex County, MA | Hybrid Work Model

Compensation : $70k-$85k

What you Do:

* Prepare and review federal and state tax returns: 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041
* Review monthly financial statements
* Work with small business clients ($1M-$5M in revenue) across ~36 states (core in New England)
* Support a fully paperless workflow: TaxCaddy → SurePrep → UltraTax
* Collaborate with outsourced staff and contribute to team development
* Engage in tax planning conversations as needed

What you Need:

* 3+ years of public accounting experience in tax
* Experience using UltraTax and SurePrep
* CPA or EA license (or active progress toward one)
* Familiarity with multi-state filings
* Strong communication and client service skills
* Interest in being part of a close-knit, growing firm
