As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Seattle WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support patients visitors and staff through strong customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile reliable innovative caring and guided by integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials directing visitors and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation providing directions and general assistance and reporting hazards maintenance issues and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
