Job Description

Welcome! The new season is officially here. Now seeking front desk and floor security. Security will be in charge of guarding and   protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining high visibility, patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and controlling access points. You will be are responsible for detecting, deterring, and reporting suspicious activities, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and filing detailed incident reports.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrolling: Conducting foot or vehicle patrols to inspect buildings, equipment, and access points (doors, gates, windows).
• Access Control: Monitoring entrances to allow authorized personnel and visitors while preventing unauthorized access.
• Surveillance: Using CCTV, alarm systems, and monitoring equipment to observe for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Emergency Response: Responding to, managing, and reporting emergencies (e.g., fires, accidents, safety hazards).
• Reporting: Maintaining detailed daily logs and writing incident reports to document observations and activities.
• Rule Enforcement: Enforcing company policies, safety protocols, and deterring illegal behavior or vandalism.  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Observation: High level of alertness and attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and interaction.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and handle potentially physically demanding situations.
• Integrity: High standard of professionalism, reliability, and ethics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in security systems and communication equipment (radios, alarms).
• Licensing: State-required security guard licenses or registrations.  

   

Common Requirements

• Valid state-issued security guard license/certification or must be willing to train
• High school diploma or equivalent (if applicable) 
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred.
• Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
