SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant

SAP Integration Consultant (PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO & BTP Integration Suite Consultant to support a dual-track initiative focused on audit control optimization and integration platform modernization. This role will play a critical part in evaluating existing SAP PI/PO environments and supporting the migration to SAP BTP Integration Suite.

This is a fully remote consulting opportunity with a high level of collaboration alongside internal IT and integration teams.

Project 1: SAP PI/PO Audit Controls Review

• Conduct a comprehensive review of SAP PI/PO audit controls and user access
• Analyze all system user IDs to determine:
  • Active vs inactive users
  • Appropriate role alignment and security access
  • Relevance to current business functions
• Identify users eligible for deactivation or clean-up
• Compile findings and provide clear recommendations for remediation
• Partner with internal teams, who will execute the majority of user access updates and closures
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance standards

Project 2: SAP PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite Migration

• Provide hands-on support for the migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite
• Assist with setup, configuration, and integration design within BTP
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to modernize integrations and architecture
• Recommend best practices for integration patterns, scalability, and performance optimization
• Support knowledge transfer to internal team members throughout the migration process
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues during transition

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO (Process Integration / Process Orchestration)
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, including configuration and deployment
• Experience supporting migration initiatives from PI/PO to BTP
• Deep understanding of user access controls, system security, and audit processes
• Ability to assess system usage and align access with business roles
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting audit or compliance initiatives within SAP environments
• Familiarity with integration best practices and API-based architectures
• Experience in knowledge transfer and stakeholder enablement
• Background working in enterprise environments with complex integration landscape
