Essential Job Functions:
• Develops relationship with referred Workforce customers to identify appropriate employment opportunities.
• Communicates appropriate employment opportunities to customer.
• Assures customer has appropriate and necessary tools (resume, etc.) for success in the application process.
• Engages the customer in available activities to sharpen needed skills and focus.
• Provides assistance / referrals as appropriate to address barriers as identified in the job search process.
• Serves as liaison with the Employer Services team to stay current with applicable information
o Emerging employment opportunities
o Hiring events
• Communicates program specific requirements/documentation regarding job search activities.
• Develops and maintains a professional relationship with customers by meeting with them via a frequency and format that will result in timely employment engagement while assuring program guidelines are met.
• Facilitates virtual and in-person job search activities as needed.
• Participates in hiring events as appropriate.
• Provides professional customer service and communicates efficiently with customers, peers, and management (verbally and in writing, as appropriate).
• Tracks services and documents customer interactions using TWC mandated system.
• Complies with all data entry guidelines.
• Maintains updated tracking for customers receiving Job Search Assistance.
• Determines the need and qualification for eligible supportive services and assures all applicable documentation and distribution guidelines are met.
• Obtains necessary documentation and enters placement information into the prescribed system(s).
• Enters data into the mandated database system accurately and timely.
• Remains compliant with all training offered to ensure up-to-date knowledge of processes and procedures.
• Complies with self-audit guidelines and other processes to assure case quality.
• Maintains professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with private/sensitive issues and information.
• Utilizes Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.
Physical Demands/Work Environment :
Physical requirements include carrying/lifting up to 5 pounds, frequently; up to 10 pounds, regularly; and up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to drive an automobile and operate computer keyboard and basic office equipment; subject to carrying, lifting, twisting and reaching to perform essential job functions. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment with occasional travel to other locations.
Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with at least one years' experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review.
Previous workforce experience and/or case management experience is preferred. Must possess demonstrated proficiency with verbal and written communication skills as well as demonstrated customer service skills and computer skills.
Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
