Who We Are

DanceWorks is not your average vanilla dance studio.

We are a fast-growing, high-energy studio on the north side of Chicago bringing dance, confidence, and joy to the Orthodox Jewish community.

We are a tight-knit team of about 10 people who:

About This Role

We call this role the Director of First Impressions — because that’s exactly what you are.

You are the phenomenal energy at our helm (front desk).
The one who sets the tone.
The one who makes people feel instantly at home.

You are not “just admin.”

You are the glue, the flow, the feeling of the studio.

This role starts with Sundays (in-person), with opportunity to grow into more.
Flexible start date.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming families and creating a warm, organized, upbeat environment
• Registering students and managing trial and makeup classes
• Keeping the studio stocked, prepped, and running beautifully
• Collaborating with the director and teachers to create, improve, and manage systems
• Thinking creatively about how to make things run better — and then executing

Bonus Points If…

• You have customer service or sales experience
• You’re comfortable with systems and tech
• You’re a dancer (major plus!)

There may be opportunities to sub or step into classes when needed.
