Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Pay: Starting at $12/hour
Position Type: Direct Hire
Shift: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Schedule: Full-Time | Any day based on facility needs

is currently hiring a dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a direct hire opportunity with one of our senior living facility partners.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, works well with seniors, and understands the importance of patience, kindness, and reliability in caregiving.

This position is ideal for someone with previous PCA experience who is comfortable assisting residents with daily living activities while helping create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Assisting with ambulation and mobility devices
• Supporting residents during meals and dining services
• Light housekeeping and laundry assistance as needed
• Assisting with medication self-administration following facility guidelines
• Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Supporting resident activities and engagement
• Responding appropriately in emergency situations
• Maintaining professionalism and compassionate care at all times

Requirements:

• Previous PCA experience required
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 pounds
• Must be dependable and able to work flexible scheduling needs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents throughout the shift
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff
• Must work well independently and as part of a team

Additional Information:

• Blue scrubs required
• Interviews will be scheduled through Vital Medical Staffing
• 90-day pay reevaluation available based on performance and attendance
