As an Insurance Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice on insurance products, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. Your primary goal will be to generate new business and retain existing clients by offering them the best insurance solutions to protect their assets and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and excellent customer service
- Identify and understand clients' insurance needs and provide them with tailored insurance solutions
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, and cold calling
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide clients with accurate insurance quotes
- Review and renew insurance policies for existing clients
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate the best coverage and rates for clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Knowledge of insurance products and services
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in using computer programs and databases
- Valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe
