Role Overview

Join our operations team in Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 as an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician. You will be the go-to expert who keeps our production assets running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

A Day in the Life

You start your shift by reviewing maintenance logs and work orders, then walk the floor to check machine health. You perform preventative maintenance, dig into unexpected mechanical issues, and partner closely with operators to diagnose problems quickly. Between tasks, you update service records, tidy your workspace, and prep parts for an afternoon equipment install. By day’s end, you’ve helped prevent downtime, resolved a tricky fault, and teed up tomorrow’s tasks.

What You'll Handle

• Execute routine maintenance and corrective repairs on industrial machinery and supporting equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement practical, lasting fixes.
• Conduct regular inspections to catch wear, misalignment, or safety risks early.
• Document all maintenance work, parts used, and findings with accuracy.
• Partner with teammates and operators to maximize uptime and performance.
• Uphold safety procedures and maintain an orderly, clean work area.
• Assist with the setup and installation of new equipment when required.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or a closely related mechanical role.
• Strong grasp of mechanical systems and effective troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Sharp problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communicator and reliable team collaborator.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to urgent calls when needed.
