Global Logistics Manager (Aerospace | TMS | Global Trade Compliance)

Lead Global Logistics at Scale

A leading advanced aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Global Logistics Manager to own and optimize end-to-end international transportation strategy and execution across complex, high-stakes supply chains.

This role sits at the center of global operations—ensuring on-time, compliant, and cost-effective movement of critical components supporting commercial aviation programs.

What You'll Own:

• Define and execute global logistics strategy across air, ocean, and expedited freight
• Lead and optimize Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Ensure full global trade compliance across international shipments
• Manage multimodal logistics operations (air, ocean, time-critical/AOG)
• Own Incoterms strategy and execution across global suppliers
• Drive cost optimization and lean freight strategies
• Lead relationships with 3PL/4PL providers and global logistics partners
• Strengthen supply chain resilience and risk mitigation frameworks
• Partner cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Deliver KPI reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Engineering, or related
• 7+ years of experience in global logistics or transportation within aerospace or complex manufacturing
• Hands-on expertise with:
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • International shipping execution (air & ocean freight)
  • Global trade compliance regulations
• Experience operating within multinational supply chains
• Strong leadership experience managing vendors and logistics providers

Highly Preferred:

• Aerospace or commercial aviation supply chain experience
• AOG / time-critical logistics expertise
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020
• Experience with SAP or enterprise systems
• Proven success in:
  • TMS implementations
  • VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) strategies
  • Freight cost optimization / lean logistics
