Salary: $244,700 - 279,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree; a masters degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
• We require at least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
• We require at least 7 years of experience designing distributed systems, backend architectures, and API platforms.
• We require at least 5 years of experience working with public cloud technologies.
• We prefer 10+ years of hands-on experience building and architecting solutions on AWS.
• We prefer relevant cloud or data platform certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Snowflake/Databricks credentials.
• We prefer 10+ years of professional coding experience in widely used languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift.
• We prefer 8+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, from concept through architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.
• We prefer experience modernizing large-scale, non-greenfield environments that use multiple languages and frameworks.
• We prefer deep knowledge of Backend-for-Frontend and Server-Driven UI architectures at scale.
• We prefer strong practical expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, chaos engineering, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and tracing.
• We prefer a proven background in merging or migrating technology stacks after acquisitions or organizational changes.
• We prefer experience implementing artificial intelligence or AI-enabled solutions.

• We will lead the shift toward a dynamically driven architecture using server-driven UI and Backend-for-Frontend patterns to separate front-end experiences from backend complexity.
• We will guide the convergence strategy for multiple technology stacks, determining where differentiation adds value and where it introduces unnecessary technical debt.
• We will identify and implement AI-powered improvements across our software development lifecycle to speed delivery and strengthen code reliability.
• We will direct the technical execution of a varied portfolio spanning distributed microservices, web and mobile applications, and fraud and decisioning models.
• We will partner with product, program management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across our enterprise to improve business outcomes through strong technical solutions.
• We will share knowledge through system design sessions, code reviews, experimentation with new tools, and participation in internal and external technology communities.
• We will build our engineering brand by serving as a recognized subject-matter resource on key technologies and technology-enabled capabilities.
• We will mentor internal talent and help recruit external talent to strengthen our technology organization.
• We will raise awareness of modern technologies and communicate the business and engineering value they bring.
• We will foster an inclusive environment where ideas are heard, respected, and advanced.
• We will promote engineering excellence by encouraging solution reuse and inner sourcing wherever practical.
• We will act as a trusted advisor for a defined technology, platform, or capability area, shaping use cases and implementation direction consistently.
